Kalpavriksham Trust continued its mission of creating a cancer-aware and cancer-free community through a series of impactful awareness and screening initiatives during Week #29 (20th–26th July 2026). Working closely with healthcare professionals, community partners, and corporate organizations, the Trust successfully conducted 8 outreach events, benefiting a total of 408 individuals across Tamil Nadu.
These initiatives focused on promoting early detection, cancer awareness, and preventive healthcare, ensuring that quality screening services reached underserved communities and workplaces.
As part of Project Sunkalp, Kalpavriksham Trust organized multiple cancer screening camps at AV Thomas Leather & Allied Products Pvt. Ltd. in Madurantakam and Sillavattam, along with the Government Primary Health Centre, Gnangiriswaran Pettai.

These camps enabled hundreds of beneficiaries to undergo preventive health screening, helping identify potential health concerns at an early stage while educating participants about the importance of regular cancer screening.
An iBreast Screening Camp was conducted at Aram Home Care, Nerkundram, under Project ARISE. The programme provided breast health screening and awareness, encouraging women to understand the importance of early detection and self-breast examination.
A Cancer Awareness Programme was organized at Good Hope Matric Higher Secondary School, Chennai, under Project Shakthi, reaching 160 students.

Early detection remains one of the most effective ways to improve cancer treatment outcomes. Every awareness session, screening camp, and educational programme conducted by Kalpavriksham Trust is aimed at reducing the burden of cancer by promoting timely diagnosis and preventive healthcare.
Through collaborative initiatives such as Project Sunkalp, Project ARISE, and Project Shakthi, the Trust continues to extend quality cancer screening and education to communities across Tamil Nadu, ensuring that more people have access to life-saving information and services.
