When you give a young person a skill, you change a family's future.
Many bright young people in our community finish Class 10 and can't study further. Often they lost a parent to cancer, or a parent is still in treatment. Some come from families below the poverty line, and some have grown up in orphanages. Without help, many of them end up in insecure, low-paid work.
Kalpavriksham Trust's Paramedical Education Programme gives them another option. Students learn a recognised healthcare skill at no cost, earn a certificate with a registration number, and go on to steady work caring for patients.
We keep our seats for students who need them most:
Students who have passed Class 10
Children of single parents
Children of cancer survivors, or of parents in cancer treatment or living with a proven chronic illness
Families below the poverty line
Students from orphanages
We charge no capitation fee and no examination fee, so money never decides who gets to learn. Donations from people like you pay for:
Clinical training from the first day. Students learn alongside working doctors and healthcare staff, with real patient contact and not just classroom theory.
Expert teaching. Doctors and specialists teach and mentor every batch.
Practical skills workshops. These include live sessions on patient communication and on documentation to professional standards.
Whole-person growth. Students also receive additional classes in legal protections for women, financial planning etc. to build confidence and wellbeing.
Community service. Students get hands-on exposure to social work, including the Trust's screening and awareness outreach.
A path to employment. Every graduate leaves with a registered certificate and placement support.
Diploma in Health Assistant
A practical, job-ready diploma that trains students to support doctors and nurses in day-to-day patient care: helping patients with comfort and mobility, recording vital signs, maintaining hygiene and infection control, assisting with basic first aid, administering drugs and communicating with patients and families with compassion. Graduates are prepared to work in hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, home-care services and community health programmes.
One student's training can lift a whole family out of hardship. You can:
Sponsor a student's full course – ₹ 1,00,000/-
Sponsor one year of training – ₹ 50,000/-
Fund uniforms, books and study materials – ₹ 20,000/-
Give any amount to the Student Education Fund
