At Kalpavriksham Trust, every week is a step forward in the mission to create a cancer-aware and healthier society. From April 13th to 19th, 2026, our initiatives under Project Femicare+ and Project Shakthi reached deep into communities, impacting lives through awareness, screening, and early detection.
During this week, 4 impactful events were successfully conducted, reaching a total of 163 beneficiaries across Chennai and Thiruvallur districts. Each initiative was carefully designed to educate, screen, and empower individuals-especially women,about the importance of early cancer detection and preventive healthcare.
Under Project Femicare+, a cancer screening camp was conducted at Akshaya Old Age Home, K.K. Nagar.
This initiative focused on elderly care, ensuring that even the most vulnerable populations have access to life-saving screenings.
As part of Project Shakthi, an awareness session was held in Karanai Village, Kadambathur.
