Kalpavriksham Trust continued its commitment to cancer awareness, early detection, and preventive healthcare by successfully conducting 8 healthcare initiatives, reaching 422 beneficiaries between 5th and 11th October 2026. Through Projects Sunkalp, Shakti, and ARISE, the Trust strengthened its efforts to make cancer screening and awareness accessible to communities across Tamil Nadu.
Under Project Sunkalp, six cancer screening camps were organized at Kaliyampoondi Community Hall, Soonambedu PHC, Malapalayam Government School, Achurapakkam PHC, Pollpakkam PHC, and Vadakku Vayalur PHC in the Madurantakam region. These camps provided free iBreast examinations, oral cancer screenings, and Pap smear tests, helping beneficiaries take proactive steps toward early cancer detection.
As part of Project Shakti, a cancer awareness session was conducted at 6th Sector Park, KK Nagar, reaching 40 participants and emphasizing the importance of cancer prevention, recognizing early warning signs, and regular health screenings.
Additionally, under Project ARISE, a cancer screening camp was organized at Vivekananda Vision School, Thiruverkadu, benefiting 59 individuals through free iBreast examinations and Pap smear screenings.
These initiatives reflect Kalpavriksham Trust's continued dedication to promoting cancer awareness, encouraging early detection, and improving access to preventive healthcare. Every screening and awareness session brings us closer to building healthier, cancer-aware communities.
