Week #38 21–27 September 2026 | 8 Events | 918 Beneficiaries Reached
Kalpavriksham Trust, in collaboration with its partners, continued its commitment to cancer awareness, prevention, and early detection during Week 38 (21–27 September 2026), reaching 918 beneficiaries through eight events under Project Sunkalp and Project Shakti.
The week included free cancer screening camps at Vadakku Vayalallur PHC, Irumbedu PHC, Achurapakkam PHC, Pavunjur PHC, Vedavakkam NGO Center, and Nallamur PHC across the Madurantakam region. The camps provided screening services, including iBreast examinations, oral cancer examinations, and Pap smear tests, promoting early detection and timely medical consultation.
Under Project Shakti, cancer awareness sessions were conducted at Pounjur Panchayat Office, Madurantakam, and Linkup Textiles, Thandalam, educating participants about cancer prevention, the importance of screening, and early diagnosis.
Through these initiatives, Kalpavriksham Trust continues to empower communities with essential cancer awareness and accessible screening services, working towards a healthier future through early detection and preventive healthcare.
