Kalpavriksham Trust continues its mission of solving the cancer crisis through awareness, prevention, and early detection. The first week of February 2026 marked another impactful milestone under Project Shakthi, with five cancer awareness programmes conducted across Tamil Nadu.
During this week, we successfully reached 210 beneficiaries through structured educational sessions aimed at promoting preventive healthcare and encouraging early screening.
The week began with a community awareness session attended by 36 participants. The programme focused on understanding the early warning signs of cancer, the importance of regular screening, and the need to overcome myths and stigma associated with the disease.
A corporate awareness session was conducted for 43 participants. The discussion emphasized workplace wellness, preventive health check-ups, lifestyle modifications, and early detection strategies.
On World Cancer Day, two impactful rural outreach sessions were conducted.

Cancer cases continue to rise, but early detection and awareness can significantly improve survival rates. Many diagnoses are delayed due to lack of information and social stigma. Through consistent community outreach, Kalpavriksham Trust is committed to bridging this awareness gap and promoting preventive healthcare practices.
Each session conducted is a step toward empowering individuals with knowledge, encouraging timely screening, and building a healthier society.
Prevention saves life.
