At Kalpavriksham Trust, our mission of “Solving the Cancer Crisis” continues through consistent community outreach, awareness, and preventive healthcare initiatives. During Week 03 (19th to 25th January 2026), we successfully conducted 7 impactful events, reaching a total of 210 beneficiaries across Tamil Nadu.
The week primarily focused on Cancer Awareness Talks under our Shakthi Project, aimed at educating communities about:
Early signs and symptoms of cancer
Importance of early detection
Breast and cervical cancer screening
Healthy lifestyle choices for cancer prevention
These sessions were held across multiple villages in Thiruvallur district and in Chennai, ensuring that awareness reached both rural and urban populations.

SRS Sarvodaya Girls Hostel, Chetpet
Methodist Tamil Church, Vepery
Through interactive discussions and visual aids, participants were encouraged to adopt preventive health practices and seek timely medical consultation.
As part of our Nila Project, we also organized an HPV Vaccination Drive at Nazreth Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Avadi.
This initiative focused on creating awareness about the HPV vaccine, its role in preventing cervical cancer, and the importance of vaccinating adolescents at the right age.
