Though small in number, this week’s outreach created meaningful impact in Kolumedu Village near Veltech Tech University, Thiruvallur.

Under the Shakthi project, Kalpavriksham Trust, in collaboration with Privaram Cancer Hospital, conducted an insightful Cancer Awareness Talk for women in the Kolumedu community.
The session focused on:
Importance of regular mammogram screenings
Understanding Pap smear tests for cervical cancer
Early warning signs and symptoms
How early detection dramatically increases survival rates
Lifestyle choices that help reduce cancer risk
The women actively participated, asked questions, and shared their concerns-showing how essential awareness is in empowering communities.
The images reflect the enthusiasm and warmth of the women who attended the session. Despite limited resources, the community showed immense willingness to learn and take steps toward better health.
Cancer is most curable when detected early-a message we continue to spread across villages, schools, factories, and workplaces. Every awareness session is a step toward a healthier, informed society.

Today Our school students atten this HPV vaccination at privaram cancer hospital. It is very useful to all the students and they are doing healthy and social services.
