At Kalpavriksham Trust, our mission of “Solving the Cancer Crisis” continues through consistent community outreach, awareness, and preventive healthcare initiatives. During Week 04 (26th January to 1st February 2026), we successfully conducted two impactful programs, benefiting a total of 201 individuals.

Location: Government Higher Secondary School, Alamathi, Redhills Road, Thiruvallur
Beneficiaries: 145 students
As part of the Shakthi Project, Kalpavriksham Trust organized a Cancer Awareness Talk at the Government Higher Secondary School, Alamathi. The session was designed to educate students on the fundamentals of cancer prevention, early warning signs, and the importance of healthy lifestyle choices.
The interactive discussion empowered young minds with accurate information, encouraged open conversations around health, and emphasized the role of early awareness in reducing cancer risks. Reaching 145 students, this program reinforced the importance of preventive education at the school level.

Under the Femicare Project, a Cancer Screening Camp was conducted to promote women’s health and early cancer detection. The camp provided free and accessible screening services, ensuring timely preventive care for women in the community.
