Kalpavriksham Trust continues its mission of addressing the cancer crisis through awareness, education, and early detection initiatives. During Week 53, from 29th December 2024 to 4th January 2025, we successfully conducted three cancer awareness programs under our Shakthi Project, reaching a total of 344 beneficiaries across Thiruvallur district.

1. Cancer Awareness Talk - 30 December 2024
Location: Indhira College of Education, Pandur, Thiruvallur
Beneficiaries: 300
This large-scale awareness session focused on educating students and faculty about breast and cervical cancer. The talk emphasized the importance of early detection through mammograms and Pap smear screenings, recognition of early warning signs, and the role of healthy lifestyle choices in cancer prevention.
2. Cancer Awareness Talk - 03 January 2025
Location: Prem Nagar, Veppampattu, Thiruvallur
Beneficiaries: 31
This community-based program aimed to create awareness among local residents about common cancer symptoms and the necessity of regular screenings. Participants were encouraged to seek timely medical consultation and adopt preventive healthcare practices.
3. Cancer Awareness Talk - 03 January 2025
Location: Kanthankolai, Thiruvallur
Beneficiaries: 13
The session provided focused education on cancer prevention and early diagnosis. Attendees received clear guidance on screening procedures and were motivated to spread awareness within their families and communities.
Through these programs, Kalpavriksham Trust reinforced its commitment to empowering communities with life-saving knowledge. By reaching diverse groups-from educational institutions to grassroots communities-we continue to strengthen awareness around cancer prevention and early detection.
