At Kalpavriksham Trust, our mission to solve the cancer crisis through awareness, prevention, and early detection continues to make a meaningful impact every week.
During Week #45 (3rd – 9th November 2025), we conducted five Cancer Awareness Talks under our flagship initiative, Project Shakthi, reaching a total of 740 beneficiaries across Thiruvallur and Chennai districts.
Key Highlights
Each session was designed to educate and empower communities—especially women—on the importance of preventive health practices. The discussions covered:
- Early detection through Mammogram and Pap Smear screenings
- Awareness about HPV vaccination and cervical cancer prevention
- Healthy lifestyle habits to reduce cancer risk
Participants actively engaged in discussions and pledged to spread awareness within their families and neighborhoods, strengthening our mission to create a cancer-free community.
