Empowering Communities Through Cancer Awareness and Prevention
Kalpavriksham Trust continues its steadfast mission of solving the cancer crisis through proactive awareness, early detection, and community education. During Week #42 (13th to 19th October 2025), the Trust successfully organized 4 impactful events, reaching a total of 473 beneficiaries across Tamil Nadu.
Under the Shakthi Project, a large-scale awareness session was conducted for 300 employees at Intimate Fashions India Pvt. Ltd. The session focused on breast and cervical cancer awareness, emphasizing early detection methods, lifestyle changes, and the importance of regular screenings.
Kalpavriksham’s outreach extended to young minds, where 30 students were sensitized about cancer prevention and menstrual hygiene. This educational initiative aimed to create awareness among rural students and empower them with vital health knowledge.
As part of the Femicare+ Project, a free cancer screening camp was organized for Navy families. The camp benefited 43 individuals, with 26 mammogram and 22 pap smear tests conducted. The event highlighted the significance of regular screenings for early detection and prevention.
The Shakthi Project also hosted an engaging panel discussion attended by 100 participants. Medical professionals and experts shared insights on women’s health, cancer prevention, and the critical role of awareness in reducing mortality.




Every event organized by Kalpavriksham Trust reaffirms its belief that “Prevention Saves Life.” Through continuous awareness programs, medical camps, and partnerships with institutions, the Trust remains committed to empowering individuals to take charge of their health.
