Cancer Awareness Session and Aramsei – Panel Discussion organized by NSS Unit 7, Anna University brought together NGO and government representatives to inspire students to embrace social responsibility and community service. Around 50 students participated in the session, which highlighted the challenges and impact of social work, with a special focus on cancer awareness, early detection, and the importance of youth participation in spreading accurate information and supporting community screening initiatives. During the event, Dr. Banupriya, Founder of Kalpavriksham Trust, was honored with the Change Maker Award in recognition of her exceptional contributions to society and community welfare.
