Kalpavriksham Trust, in collaboration with Multivista and Privaram Cancer Hospital, conducted a Cancer Awareness Session at INS Pallava, Kalpakkam, on 23rd October 2026, as part of the pre-Navy Day celebrations, with around 70 participants in attendance.The event was inaugurated by Mrs. Kanchana Devi Dinesh, President of NWWA, alongside Commanding Officer Commodore P. Dinesh and Executive Officer Commodore Sivaprakash. Dr. M. Banupriya and Dr. L. Manikandan led an interactive awareness session highlighting the importance of early cancer detection, regular breast and cervical cancer screenings, preventive vaccination, and healthy lifestyle practices.A special Human Pink Ribbon Formation symbolised unity and collective commitment to cancer awareness. The programme was efficiently coordinated by Dr. Vedashri, Medical Officer, Navy Unit, Kalpakkam, reinforcing the importance of cancer awareness, early detection, and preventive healthcare.
