Kalpavriksham Trust, in collaboration with Privaram Cancer Hospital, organized an impactful Cancer Awareness Talk at Indira Medical College, Pandur – Thiruvallur, which was attended by approximately 120 students.The session focused on early detection and cancer prevention, with special emphasis on women’s health. It highlighted the importance of mammogram screenings, Pap smear tests, and the HPV vaccine in preventing breast and cervical cancers.The expert speaker discussed key topics such as cancer risk factors, screening procedures, and the benefits of timely detection, motivating attendees to adopt proactive health measures. Participants gained valuable insights into how preventive screenings can significantly reduce cancer risks and were encouraged to make informed health decisions.The initiative aimed to create a lasting impact by promoting awareness, encouraging early diagnosis, and fostering a culture of preventive healthcare within the community.
