Kalpavriksham Trust, in collaboration with Privaram Cancer Hospital, conducted a Cancer Awareness Talk at Kathiricheri and Munnuthikuppam Villages, Madurantakam, Chengalpattu District, on 18th August 2026. The session reached approximately 105 participants and focused on the importance of iBreast Screening, Oral and Skin Cancer Screening, and Pap Smear tests, highlighting their vital role in the early detection of breast and cervical cancers.The session provided participants with a clear and detailed understanding of various screening procedures, their benefits, and the importance of regular health check-ups. Participants were encouraged to adopt proactive health practices, undergo timely screenings, and prioritize preventive healthcare.This initiative aimed to empower the community with essential knowledge, promote early detection and timely screening, and support informed health-related decision-making for long-term well-being. Through such awareness programmes, Kalpavriksham Trust continues to strengthen its mission of building healthier, better-informed communities.
