Kalpavriksham Trust, in collaboration with Privaram Cancer Hospital, organized a Cancer Awareness Talk at Ponnuswamy Nadar College of Arts & Science, Thozhuvur, Thiruvallur, with the participation of 200 students. The session emphasized the importance of prevention and early detection of Cervical and Breast Cancer, cancer vaccines, and the role of peer education, with a strong focus on women’s health. Key highlights included the significance of Mammograms, Pap Smear tests, and the HPV vaccine in reducing cancer risks. The speaker addressed vital topics such as cancer risk factors, screening procedures, and the benefits of timely detection, motivating participants to adopt proactive health practices. Attendees were educated on how preventive screenings can safeguard their well-being and were encouraged to make informed health decisions. This initiative aimed to create a lasting impact by spreading awareness, promoting early diagnosis, and fostering a culture of preventive healthcare within the community.
