Kalpavriksham Trust, in collaboration with Privaram Cancer Hospital, organized a Cancer Awareness Talk at S.S. Jain College, Chennai, with the participation of 55 students and staff members. The session focused on the importance of early detection and cancer prevention, with special emphasis on women’s health.The awareness program highlighted the significance of mammogram and Pap smear screenings as effective tools for the early detection of breast and cervical cancers. The speaker explained common cancer risk factors, screening procedures, and the benefits of timely diagnosis in reducing cancer-related complications.Participants gained valuable insights into preventive healthcare practices and the role of regular screenings in minimizing cancer risks. The session empowered attendees to make informed health decisions and encouraged the adoption of proactive health measures. Overall, the program aimed to strengthen awareness, promote early diagnosis, and foster a culture of preventive healthcare within the community.
