50 Lives Reached, One Important Finding – Project Sunkalp at Achurapakkam PHC!
A simple screening today can make a meaningful difference tomorrow!
On 27th October 2026, Kalpavriksham Trust, through Project Sunkalp, conducted a cancer screening camp at Achurapakkam Primary Health Centre (PHC), Madurantakam, Tamil Nadu, bringing essential preventive healthcare services closer to the community.
A total of 50 beneficiaries, including 11 men and 39 women, participated in the camp.
Screening Highlights:
35 iBreast Examinations
50 Oral Examinations
1 Positive iBreast Screening Finding
One positive iBreast screening finding was identified, highlighting the importance of early detection, timely medical consultation, and appropriate follow-up. A positive screening result does not confirm cancer but requires further medical evaluation.
Beyond the numbers, this camp represents another step towards improving healthcare accessibility in rural communities. Through Project Sunkalp, Kalpavriksham Trust continues to promote cancer awareness, preventive screening, and early detection across Madurantakam and Chengalpattu District.
One Community. 50 Beneficiaries. A Shared Commitment to Better Health.
