62 People Screened at Gandhi Nagar Through Project Sunkalp
Project Sunkalp reached Gandhi Nagar, Madurantakam, where 62 community members came forward for cancer screening and took an important step towards preventive healthcare.
The camp saw participation from 51 women and 11 men, with the following screenings completed:
43 iBreast examinations
54 Oral cancer examinations
22 Pap smear screenings
Each person screened represents a meaningful step towards creating greater awareness about cancer and the importance of early detection.
Bringing screening directly into communities helps reduce barriers such as travel, cost, time and lack of awareness. Through camps like this, Kalpavriksham Trust aims to make preventive cancer care easier to access, particularly for people in rural and underserved areas.
Early detection can make a significant difference. Community screening camps not only help identify potential concerns earlier, but also encourage families to talk about cancer prevention and make regular health screening a priority.
Through Project Sunkalp, we continue working with local communities, healthcare professionals, panchayats and CSR partners to bring cancer screening closer to those who need it.
62 people came forward. 119 screenings were completed. One community moved another step closer to better cancer awareness.
Kalpavriksham Trust is registered under 12AB, 80G and CSR-1 (MCA) and is listed on NGO Darpan. Transparent, camp-wise impact reports are provided for CSR partnerships.
