Project Sunkalp | Camp KVT-MDTK-022 | 30.07.2026
31 women gathered in Gnangiriswaran Pettai with one shared purpose: to take a step towards protecting their health.
At our Project Sunkalp cancer screening camp in Gnangiriswaran Pettai, Madurantakam, we provided essential preventive cancer screening services to women in the community:
30 clinical breast examinations
29 oral cancer examinations
The most effective cancer treatment often begins long before a diagnosis, it begins with screening. Breast and oral cancers can frequently be detected at an early stage, when treatment is simpler, recovery is better, and lives can be saved.
For many women in rural communities, regular health check-ups are not always easy to access. By bringing screening services directly to their village, we remove barriers such as travel, cost, and time, making preventive healthcare available where it is needed most.
Through Project Sunkalp, Kalpavriksham Trust is committed to reaching underserved communities across Madurantakam with awareness, early detection, and timely referrals. Every screening camp strengthens our mission of building healthier villages and reducing the burden of preventable cancer.
Community partnerships make this possible. Together, we can ensure that more women have access to life-saving screening before symptoms appear.
Kalpavriksham Trust is registered under 12AB, 80G, and CSR-1 (MCA) and is listed on NGO Darpan. We provide transparent, camp-wise impact reports for every CSR partnership.
