The iBreast Device, an innovative technology designed for the early detection of breast cancer through mass screening, was officially launched at Privaram Cancer Hospital, Valasaravakkam, on 16 February 2026 under Project Femicare+. Organized by Kalpavriksham Trust in collaboration with Rotary Club Madras East and Privaram Cancer Hospital, the initiative marks a significant step toward accessible and affordable breast cancer screening. The device aims to support large-scale community screenings, enabling early diagnosis and timely medical intervention.With the presence of esteemed dignitaries and Chief Guest Actor Harish Kalyan, President – Rtn. Balaji Sreenivasan, Secretary – Rtn. Flt. Lt. Sujatha G, and Health Director – Rtn. Dr. Sandhya ArunKumar, the event highlighted the importance of early detection in saving lives. The iBreast Device strengthens ongoing efforts to create awareness, promote preventive healthcare, and reduce breast cancer mortality through proactive screening programs. Early detection saves lives - and initiatives like this bring that message closer to every woman in the community.
