Nemili Medical camp

Nemili Medical camp was done on 24.07.2016 and 120 people had benefited in this camp in checking the Hypertension, ECG, EYE and general check up were caried out.

Educational Awareness Seminar

An educational awareness seminar was conducted by KALPAVIRKSHAM on 6th october, 2014. The seminar focused on creating awareness among students on ill effects of tobacco and its implications in causing CANCER. The event provided information to approximately 30 students of age group between 12 -18 years. Dr. M. Banupriya M.D. Radiation Oncologist and founder of KALPAVIRKSHAM presented a lecture on forms of Tobacco, how teen age groups gets addicted to tobacco, ill effects of tobacco, how tobacco addiction leads to cancer and the methods for prevention of cancer. The session was highly interactive and received lot of attention from the students group. KALPAVIRKSHAM strongly believes that this as an another milestone in achieving its mission and vision of serving people.

9 yr old Miss.Thamaraiselvi is diagnosed as a case of craniopharyngioma.She is currently on hormonal therapy and radiation therapy by IMRT technique to pituitary bed which cost around Rs.2,00,000(two lakhs).Kalpavriksham trust donates Rs.20,000 (twenty thousand) as part of treatment expenses.
