Kalpavriksham Trust collaborated with Privaram Cancer Hospital to organize an awareness talk at Corporation Hall, Tiruvottiyur. The Cancer Awareness Talk, Dr. Banu Priya led the session, attended by 200 participants, aims to educate and empower the community on the importance of early detection and preventive healthcare. By understanding risk factors, recognizing early symptoms, and adopting a healthy lifestyle, individuals can significantly reduce their chances of developing cancer. Through expert talks, free screenings, and interactive sessions, this initiative encourages everyone to take charge of their health and spread awareness. Early detection saves lives—let’s come together to make a difference!
Kalpavriksham Trust and Privaram Cancer Hospital collaborated to conduct a cancer screening event at Bright Old Age Home, Pollachi under Project Femicare +. The event was generously sponsored by Five Star Business Finance Limited through their CSR funds. This event provided Free 43 Pap smear tests for cervical cancer, 30 Mammograms for breast cancer detection, and skin and oral cancer screenings, total beneficiaries 72. The initiative was aimed at ensuring that these essential health services reached a vulnerable population, often underserved in healthcare access.
